Our History
Kukkī began in July 2025 with one simple goal: to create South African cookies that bring joy in every bite. From the very first batch, Kukkī has been dedicated to handmade, small-batch cookies crafted with real ingredients, rich flavours, and a touch of South African flair.
Every cookie is designed to be soft, chewy, and indulgent, featuring surprises like hidden fillings, swirls of chocolate, or fruity twists to delight every tastebud. The brand was built on the idea that cookies are more than just treats — they’re moments of comfort, connection, and happiness.
Since its launch, Kukkī has grown from a small kitchen experiment into a beloved brand among cookie enthusiasts, offering fresh, exciting cookie collections through pop-ups, special collections, and seasonal creations.

About me
Hey, I’m Michelle 👋 Kukkī began with a simple love for cookies — particularly inspired by one very special Oreo Cheesecake Cookie I baked after discovering a recipe on YouTube. That first cookie wasn’t perfect, but it ignited something magical: the realization that cookies could be soft, gooey, indulgent, and bursting with personality. From that moment on, I dove into the world of cookie collections, experimenting with different recipes, testing flavors, and making plenty of mistakes (along with a lot of delicious messes 😅) until I crafted cookies that I could proudly call my own. Every Kukkī cookie is handmade, baked fresh, and filled with flavor, with a little bit of Michelle’s heart in every bite. I started Kukkī because I wanted more than just a hobby — I aimed to create something real, fun, and memorable. I love witnessing the joy on people’s faces when they try one of my South African cookies, and I hope every bite brings a sprinkle of happiness into your day. Kukkī is my way of sharing comfort, joy, and indulgence — all baked fresh in small batches with a whole lot of love and a dash of cheeky SA charm.
